RideLoop terms

Last updated October 5, 2026

RideLoop (rideloopcycling.com) plans cycling loops on roads that riders and AI have graded, and sends them to your Garmin. It's a small beta run by one person in New Jersey. By using RideLoop you agree to these terms. Questions: support@rideloopcycling.com.

Ride safely: you're in charge of your ride

Road grades, shoulder widths, traffic notes and loops are suggestions. They come from AI looking at photos, other riders and public map data, and they can be wrong or out of date: roads change, construction happens, photos are old. Always look at the road yourself, follow traffic laws, ride within your ability, and choose a different road whenever one doesn't look safe. RideLoop is not responsible for injuries, accidents, tickets or damage that happen while riding a loop it suggested.

Garmin and other services

Sending loops to Garmin uses your Garmin Connect account: your Garmin password is used once to sign in and is never stored (see Privacy). RideLoop isn't made by or affiliated with Garmin, Google, PayPal or Anthropic, and their own terms apply when you use them. If one of them changes or stops working, the feature that depends on it may stop working too.

What you share

Road grades you send are shared with every RideLoop rider: you let RideLoop keep, show and use them to plan loops, even after you leave. Your own road marks and loops stay yours.

Fair use

Don't misuse RideLoop: no scraping or bulk downloading, no automated sign-ups or sends, no attempts to get around plan limits or break into accounts, and no using it to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.

The beta

RideLoop is provided as it is, while it's being built. Features may change, pause or go away, and there may be bugs or downtime. As far as the law allows, RideLoop's total responsibility to you for anything related to the service is limited to what you paid in the 12 months before the problem.

Leaving, and changes to these terms

You can stop using RideLoop any time; cancel your plan first, then email privacy@rideloopcycling.com to delete your account. If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll say so in RideLoop or by email before the change applies. These terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey, USA.
