About RideLoop
Last updated October 17, 2026
RideLoop plans road cycling loops from your door on quieter roads, and sends them to your Garmin. Less time planning, more time riding. Questions or ideas: support@rideloopcycling.com.
What it does
- Pick a start, a distance or time, and how hilly you want it; RideLoop builds a loop that comes back to where you started.
- It prefers roads riders like: graded by other riders and by AI looking at street photos for shoulders, traffic and surface.
- Send the loop to Garmin Connect and it's on your Edge for the ride. RideLoop works with Garmin today; it isn't made by or affiliated with Garmin.
- The guides answer the questions riders ask while planning: how to plan a route, which Garmin follows routes best, how long a ride takes, how much climbing is a lot.
Who makes it
RideLoop is a small, independent project built by a road cyclist who got tired of spending longer planning rides than riding them. It started on the roads of New Jersey and is growing to riders in more places. It's in beta: features change as riders tell us what works.
How it makes money
- Bronze is free. Silver and Gold plans add more loops and road grading each month.
- Some guides link to shops, and RideLoop may earn a commission when you buy through those links, at no cost to you. No brand pays to be in a guide. The details are on the disclosure page.
- We don't sell your data. See Privacy.
