Questions

Is RideLoop free?

Yes. Bronze is free and needs no card: 20 loops a month from your front door, every road grade other riders have shared, a GPX or FIT of every loop for Garmin Connect or any device, and 2 loops a month sent to the RideLoop app on a Garmin Edge (available from the Connect IQ Store). Silver is $5 a month or $50 a year, and Gold is $10 a month or $100 a year; paying yearly gets you 2 months free.

What counts as a loop?

Each loop RideLoop builds for you: every Build and every fresh loop. Sending loops and downloading them don't count. Bronze has 20 loops a month, Silver 100 and Gold no limit, and the count starts again on the 1st of each month.

What's the difference between Silver and Gold?

Silver gives you 100 loops a month, your newest 20 loops kept, a year of rides, and on a Garmin Edge with the RideLoop app (available from the Connect IQ Store) 20 sends and 10 new loops a month. Gold has no limit on any of them, keeps every loop and every ride, builds your loops first when it's busy, and gets every new feature.

Which devices does RideLoop work with?

Every Garmin Edge and watch, on every plan: press Send or GPX, import the course in Garmin Connect, then Send to Device. On a Garmin Edge, the RideLoop app (available from the Connect IQ Store) takes it straight from Send: 2 loops a month on Bronze, 20 on Silver, every loop on Gold. The GPX works on any other bike computer too.

How does Gold's free trial work?

Every new RideLoop account gets Gold free for its first 14 days, no card needed. When the 14 days end, your account becomes Bronze unless you subscribe. Subscribe to Silver or Gold any time in those days and you're only charged when the 14 days end; we email you a few days before. One free trial per rider.

Can I cancel, and do you give refunds?

Cancel any time, here on the Plans page when you're signed in (or in your PayPal account if you pay with PayPal). Your plan lasts to the end of the month or year you paid for, then becomes Bronze. Monthly plans aren't refunded for part of a month. On a yearly plan, email support@rideloopcycling.com in the first 3 months of the year and we'll refund the rest: the yearly price, less each month you've started at the monthly price. After 3 months there's no refund. If you were charged by mistake, or RideLoop didn't work for you for a large part of a month, email within 30 days of the charge and we'll refund it. The details are in the Terms.

Where does RideLoop work?

Anywhere in the US: pick a start and a distance, and RideLoop builds the loop. Road grades come from riders, so some areas have more of them than others, and every plan grades the roads on your loops with no limit.
